Koonandah Station is a family-owned Brahman stud with a proud history spanning more than 60 years. Today, Dale and Marilyn Smith, together with their son Bruce and his partner Anne, manage a herd of around 3,200 head of stud cattle, continuing the legacy started by Albert and Gladys.

Combining generations of practical cattle knowledge with modern breeding science, Koonandah has used Breedplan performance recording since 1993 to produce predictable genetics focused on fertility, growth, temperament and adaptability to northern Australian conditions.

Koonandah Brahman bulls have been supplied to commercial producers across Queensland and the Northern Territory, with a strong focus on polled genetics and balanced breeding outcomes.
